• Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (26 of 1996) Section 33, 34 - Even if an application is titled as under Section 33 of the Act but the same is beyond the scope of Section 33 of the Act, and is in fact a review application, then the period spent of pendency of the application under Section 33 of the Act will not be excluded for determining the limitation period for filing of objections under Section 34 of the Act - Since the application under Section 33 of the Act filed by the appellant was dismissed as being not maintainable as it was in the nature of a review application, hence, the objections filed by the appellant under Section 34 of the Act were clearly barred by limitation as it was filed after more than three years of receiving the copy of the Award.
