• Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1988 (28 of 1988) S. 5-A (as amended by 2012 Act) - Parole - It is in the fitness of things that the State Government of Haryana should re-examine the provisions in question so as to eliminate an absolute bar and yet put stringent conditions so as to reduce the possibility of misuse - We may add that the matters such as jumping of parole, irrational pre-mature release are all fact oriented and that cannot be an excuse to create an absolute bar - There is a median position between an absolute bar and absolute discretion. (175) P.L.R.
