• Haryana Municipal Corporation Act, 1994 (16 of 1994) Sections 330, 331, 332 - Running of Industrial Unit in residential area - Another prayer with regard to framing of policy for shifting such units from the residential area - This is rather dire need of the day not only in the interest of public at large, but also in the interest of the industrial units and in addition, this would avoid unnecessary litigation also - It is, therefore, directed that the Government shall do the needful after giving due publicity and after hearing all concerned - It may be noticed here that such situation may not be existing only in the area within the limits of Municipal Corporation, Faridabad - It may be existing in other parts of the State as well. (176) P.L.R.  
  • Haryana Municipal Council Act, 1973 (24 of 1973) S. 181 - No law permits encroachment of public property and that too in the nature of public roads and paths - Whatsoever be the claim of the petitioner, neither forcible dispossession nor illegal interference is being ventured by the respondents - Had continued with the encroachment on public property to the inconvenience and disadvantage of the public which is legally authorised to use the same - Application restraining the defendants from demolishing the suit property which is in the nature of a tin shed and is used for tying of the cows and the other cattle-heads - Dismissed - Order upheld.
