Welfare Officer (Recruitment and Condition of Services) Rules, 1952, Rule 21(6), 6 – As framed under Punjab Factories Act, 1948 (63 of 1948) – Labour Welfare Officer – Retirement of - Employer is a public limited company – There are no statutory rules and regulations governing the service conditions of the employees – The service conditions are governed by the certified standing orders – Merely because some officials have been permitted to continue beyond the age of 58 years, would not cloth the respondent with any right to claim that he also has a right to continue upto that age – As per the Rules, the conditions of service of a Welfare Officer shall be the same as for other members of the staff of corresponding status in the factory - It is the positive case of the petitioner-employer company that the staff is retired at the age of 58 as per certified standing order including officials.    (2018-2) PUNJAB LAW REPORTER
